Event Day

The 2024 Vancouver Spirit Run, presented by TRIGATE PROPERTIES GROUP, will take place Sunday, September 22, at the beautiful Jericho Beach Park located in Vancouver, BC.

The Vancouver Spirit Run is sanctioned by BC Athletics. It is a Cross Country and Trail running event featuring something for everyone – from elite athletes and competitive age group runners to families looking to get outside and be active.

The Vancouver Spirit Run is the realization of the late coach Frank Reynolds’ vision to have a mass participation cross country event while encouraging and supporting British Columbia High School and University athletes through charitable donations and scholarship programs.

Location

The 2024 Vancouver Spirit Run takes place at  beautiful Jericho Beach Park located in Vancouver, BC. There is ample parking, both free and paid, and you’ll find the start line in the middle of the large grass field located just off the beach.

Course

Jericho Beach Park has played host to numerous provincial and national cross country races over the years. The course begins on a large grass field before heading off into the trails made up of crushed gravel, bark mulch and grass. While the course is not considered overly challenging, it is not easy and we like to throw in an extra challenge with a series of straw bales for you to jump over!

Come test yourself on a course that has been run on by some of the nation’s best runners including Cam Levins, Mohammed Ahmed, Natasha Wodak, and Rachel Cliff.
